How to obtain FNM Manager ?

Introduction:

In order to be able to protect against DDoS attacks, it is necessary to fulfil the requirements for a correct implementation of the solution.

Requirements:

The size of the hardware is related to the bandwidth and the number of networks to be monitored, a minimum requirement is 4 cores with 8GB RAM.

Fastnetmon & FNM Manager can run in a virtual machine, so you can increase resources as needed.

The required operating system is Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

It is advisable to set a Private IP (not routable -for security-) and to open ports 22 and 8081, which are required to work with FNM Manager.

You will then need to provide us with access to the server in order to install and implement the Anti DDoS solution.

Once the installation of Fastnetmon and FNM Manager is complete, you will need to send your traffic flows via the protocol of choice sFlow, NetFlow v5, v9 or IPFIX, among others.

Optional:

For a correct implementation it is necessary to have a provider that supports BGP and Blackhole community in order to mitigate the attack.
